Hotel Residence Torino Centro - Turin

The hotel is new, clean and attractive inside and the staff were very nice and helpful as to how to get around town, to the stadium, airport, etc. and what to see and do. Our room was quite large, with a big balcony, was well appointed and had the most comfortable beds/pillows of any hotel I have stayed in. It was a great choice and good value for the price. It was right next to the Porta Susa train and metro stations, with a bus stop at the front door for going into town and at the station for going to the stadium and airport. I would gladly stay there again.

The breakfast was a little carb. heavy but was ample and adequate. The walk to town around or through the train station is a bit tedious with the construction, but hopefully that will be resolved when it is finished. The convenience of the train and metro were great though.

New hotel, great staff always willing to help and assist. Room is huge and very clean, free wi-fi internet that worked very well, on of main train and subway stations in front of the hotel, great breakfast, great price-value relation compared to other hotels in the city.b

No comments. All was great and as expected.

The helpfulness of the staff was a boon to a poor English speaking soul like myself. Perfect location if you're catching a TGV in to Porto Susa and just want to get to your hotel.

The Porto Susa area it's in is quite dull [awaiting a new station] compared to the centre of Turin. The centre however is just a couple of metro stations away,

Elegance of the large and clean room, comfortable with nice furniture and space. Service perfect.

The residence room was beautifully decorated with an excellent kitchenette. The breakfast buffet was outstanding!

There was construction on the new rail station across the street, but the room was very quiet.

The hotel was great- very new and perfectly well organised. On both occasions we stayed there our rooms were nicely finished and spacious- representing excellent value for the price that we paid. Literally a stones throw from Porta Susa station- you can walk straight down an underpass near the hotel to the platforms. Breakfast is served in the adjacent restaurant and hi-tech coffee 'lab' and was very good. The staff were friendly and helpful as well.

Very comfirtable and cozy rooms. stuff adviced great reastaurand near from tha hotel. Location is enough well - 2 minutes to metro and 15 minutes to city center by walking. Nice ninting for winter - it was very warm.

Windows are going to one of the central street and this street was re-builded. So it's noisy and impossible to open the window and use great balcon.

Within a few minutes walk from the train station. Newly built hotel; neat and clean. Helpful staff. Within a 20 min walk to the city center. The options for breakfast were limited but this is common in Italy. Free WiFi but I could not get my iPhone configured with it (maybe it works well with computers).

I could hear the guy in the next room shouting on phone (or Skype?) for hours at night. The walls are probably too thin.

Very close to the train station (Porta Susa). Elegant rooms. Staff was helpful in providing directions in the area and was reliable on the wake-up call,

I had expressed a preference for a quiet room in my reservation, When I got in at 1 PM, the room was not yet ready, I was 'upgraded' to a somewhat larger room. When I asked if it was in a quiet area, I was told it was on the street side but the noise could hardly be heard from the third floor. When I got there, I could hear the traffic and went back to reception to request a room change. I was given a slightly smaller room on the quiet side of the building and was asked to move my stuff from the previous room to the new room. The new room key was demagnetized and I had to go back to reception again to get it remagnetized, When I finally got to the room,there was a very strong smell of smoke (all rooms are non smoking in the hotel). Fortunetely it faded on the second day witn the window opened during daytime. The staff followed up on the previous room key although I had returned it shortly after my move, Overall, it felt disorganized and I was frustrated that the staff did not understand that I did not want a bigger room but a quieter room - as listed on my reservation requests.

It was extremely well placed and very comfortable. The staff were all very helpful and friendly.

It is one of those hotels where, when they say breakfast is until 10am, they actually mean that breakfast finishes and will be cleared away at (or even before) 10am. We arrived at 9.45am one morning and were asked to arrive earlier in future. We found this irritating.

The room was new, very big and clean. The hotel is near Metro and Train station. If I go back in Torino I will stay there again.

Large rooms, excellent attitude of breakfast chef, who went out of his way to provide a very early breakfast for us. Very good value for money
